Although the day was overcast and rainy, we decided to take a 3 mile hike at the end of Tysfjord in Hellmobotyn

Local Sami have summer homes in the area

We walked along the rushing mountain stream

Then into the woods

 

There was only a trace of a trail

We came to a view of a huge waterfall.

Then got a little closer

We walked back along the river

Cliffs filled with nesting Kittiwakes
