After sailing all night north along the
west coast of Spitsbergen, we rounded the northwestern corner
of the archipelago and entered Woodfjord.

We spotted a polar bear walking along a
small island, then swimming between the islands.
|
|
|
|
|
|
Glaciers flowed into the fjord.
|
|
|

|
|
Our ship anchored in the fjord and we boarded zodiacs to
explore the ice around Monaco Glacier.

After dinner, the crew spotted some walrus
lying on the beach of a small island.
