We had an early morning wake-up to watch our passage
through the Lemaire Channel. This spectacular channel is about 1
mile wide and 7 miles long. Fortunately, when we came out of the
channel in the afternoon, the skies had cleared and the blue skies
made it an even more beautiful site, especially as the sun set on
the snow covered mountains and glaciers.
